We are excited to share that as our organisation grows with intent we are welcoming Vicky Meyer to the Executive team in the newly created role of Executive- Strategy and Impact.

Vicky joins Be with an impressive professional background and has worked in the human services industry for over 25 years. Starting her career delivering nursing and aged care services, via in-home support and in a residential setting. In her most recent roles at Integrated Family & Youth Service (IFYS) she was responsible for building cultural capability, developing well considered national expansion plans, business development and establishing purposeful alliances across sectors and with industry.

As the Executive for Strategy and Impact, Vicky will lead the sales and marketing teams, business development and client advocacy to ensure Be is a strong voice for our clients, regional communities and the broader aged care sector. Vicky will also work closely with the new Vitality Village Manager, Lisa Ward, providing executive leadership for Village projects.

“I am very excited to be welcoming Vicky to our brand new Executive leadership team! Of course, Vicky’s reputation proceeds her! Having worked extensively across the community sector for most of her career, Vicky is a well-known and highly respected leader. But it is Vicky’s energy and passion for the aged care sector that really speaks to me. Vicky is passionate about changing the way we think and talk about aging in Australia,” said Be CEO, Liam Mayo.

Vicky has worked at a senior operational and strategic level across developing Government, as well as in the not-for-profit and private sector. She holds a degree in Social Policy and Administration and postgraduate qualifications in Housing Policy and Practice. Vicky is well-connected in our community and excels in community engagement.

Liam also shares, “Vicky’s mother owned and ran an aged care agency in the UK, so she grew up with an intimate understanding of what it means to walk alongside people as they age at home. It is this passion and insight that informs Vicky’s approach to her work and make her a powerful steward in guiding Be into a new chapter. Welcome aboard Vicky!”
