A big warm welcome to Liam Mayo, Be’s new CEO. Last month we shared the exciting news that Liam had been appointed to the Chief Executive Officer. Liam joins the organisation with extensive experience in the community sector and after joining Be as a Board Member in June 2020, Liam is also well familiar with Be’s people and clients.

Liam has hit the ground running and has spent the first month with Be out on the road and in the regions introducing himself to the team and clients. “Be has a strong focus on putting our people first to deliver high quality services to our clients. I am thrilled to be visiting each one of our regions to learn about how our people deliver services and who really are our clients,” said Liam.

Liam has spent time on the road with Be’s drivers, greeting clients and transporting them to social events such as Ageless Grace by the Bay in North Brisbane. With the sun shining, Liam joined the North Brisbane Ageless Grace group where he tested his mind/body coordination.

Further North Liam joined Bundaberg clients for a healthy cook-out and to learn more about their personal experiences with Be. The Townsville team were also delighted to welcome Liam with team and client meet-and-greet.

Liam spent time in with one of our Cairns Home Care clients, Hana. Hana kindly welcomed Liam into her home and showed him around her beautiful garden.

Whilst it’s been a busy month out and about for Liam he has returned to the office with excitement for the next chapter of Be.
