New Services now available with Be

April 21, 2020

As things are looking very different lately for the Be family however one thing continues to stay the same- we are here to support our clients any way we can. So whilst our regular social support programs are on hold until further notice, the Be team have implemented some creative new programs and initiatives to stay engaged.

Transport update

Be is continuing to provide much needed transport services under government guidelines and include;
• Non-essential Transport up to 50km from your home
• Social distancing of 1.5m still applies inside and outside the Be vehicle
To make a booking or if you have any questions regarding additional transport services please contact our friendly team on 1300 761 011.

With many day-to-day activities cancelled we have designed a new program called Tele-Friends to help our clients stay connected during these unsettling times. The program partners clients with a dedicated Be Tele-Friend who will ring you weekly to check in with you and have a chat.  Available: Free service & open to all Be clients. Contact your local office or call 1300 761 011.

Welfare Checks

Our team are currently contacting clients to ensure that no-one is going without essential grocery and medical items. These calls also double up as a chance to connect with clients who are travelling and socialising less and finding new ways that Be can keep our community connected and engaged.
