A message from Liam, our CEO…
To our valued clients,
Just under 6 months ago I became your CEO, and as expected the time has flown by. I would like to start by thanking all of you who have taken the time to meet with me and share your ideas and visions while I toured our regions across the state earlier in the year, and again last month.
During these conversations, I consistently heard concern and reservation about the name ‘Be’. In particular people told me that they felt that they had not been consulted about the change of name from Comlink, nor did they understand what the brand ‘Be’ meant or represented.
Following these conversations, I was compelled to do two things. I undertook a survey of our clients and our employees and volunteers, to validate the feedback I was receiving. I also requested advice from an independent brand expert as to the concerns I was hearing.
With these two pieces of work concluded, I am very excited to announce that in early 2022, we will be revitalising our brand and will be known as ‘Comlink Australia’.
One of the consistent areas of feedback that I heard has been the desire by many of you, as well as our employees and volunteers, was to return to the original Comlink name. It is very important to me that I act on the messages that I am hearing from everyone and as such, I am assured that this news will come with a great sense of enthusiasm for many people.
Finally, I want to reassure you that the costs of rebranding will be met from our current budget and will in no way impact the services you currently receive from us.
In the meantime, it is business as usual. We will continue under the Be brand until the new year when we will share all the details of our revitalised brand with you.
