Everyone has different needs

Support at Home Funding Classifications

The Support at Home program introduces eight funding classifications to better match in-home aged care services with individual needs. This system replaces the previous four-tier Home Care Packages program, offering more individualised support for participants wishing to remain independent at home. Additionally, the Support at Home program includes separate funding for assistive technology and home modifications, ensuring comprehensive support for older Australians.

Everyone has different needs

Home Care Package Levels

Once you have been assessed by My Aged Care, they will establish the level of support your care needs require. This will fall into one of the following four levels:

Basic Care

Suited for those who require short term care. Clients on level one where HCP budget is fully allocated can access additional episodic or short-term allied health, therapy or nursing services. 

Low-level Care

Services for low-level care. This level of care is suited to those who require regular assistance and support. Usually 3-4 hours per week. 

Intermediate Care

Services for intermediate care which is suited to those who require frequent assistance and support, most days of the week. 

High-level Care

Services for high-level care services for those individuals who require full-time assistance and support or with complex care needs. 

Did you know?

Care services may be accessed through government-funded packages depending on your needs and eligibility. Currently, the two largest support programs are Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) for entry level care and Support at Home Packages (HCP) for more complex needs.

Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)

The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) is government funded entry-level home support program that assist older people to live independently in their homes and communities.

This program aims to assist elderly people live as independently and safely as possible in their own homes and communities. You might be eligible for this program if you are aged 65+ years (50+ for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people) and have functional limitations or need assistance. The CHSP program also supports carers by providing planned respite services for CHSP recipients. This allows carers to take a break from their caring duties.

Dawn’s career journey as a Management Consultant and later as the Director of Australia’s first College reflects her innovative spirit as an ‘Ideas’ woman. Passionate about writing, reading, and engaging in lively conversations over tea, she radiates intellect and warmth.

With four children, three sons, and a daughter residing in Victoria, she found herself missing their company. Now as an active participant in our Comlink Companions Program, she eagerly awaits her weekly meetings, cherishing the socialisation and connection her companion brings. Dawn’s zest for life and intellectual curiosity inspire all who meet her.

Ana Cook

As our Chief People Officer, Ana brings over 20 years of leadership experience in People & Culture, Risk, and Business Transformation across utilities, hospitality, healthcare, and education sectors. Known for her commercial acumen and operational expertise, Ana has a proven track record in leading human resource workforce strategies, organisational turnarounds, and cultural transformation across complex, multi-site environments. 

As Director of People & Culture, Safety & Risk at Mighty Craft, she played a pivotal role in national expansion, crisis management, and strategic realignment, achieving significant cost reductions, improved employee retention, and cultural stability through major transitions. Sharee Webster

Sharee Webster, Manager of Holmans in Maroochydore since April 2007, is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland. She holds certifications as a Chartered Tax Adviser from the Taxation Institute of Australia and is a Registered Tax Agent.

In July 2016, Sharee obtained her Diploma of Financial Planning, becoming a licensed Financial Adviser. Specialising in business structures, taxation advice, and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs), Sharee provides strategic tax guidance to private clients, family businesses, and corporate entities.

Formerly Treasurer of the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network for six years, she also served on the Board of Directors of the Buderim Community Enterprises Limited, trading as the Buderim Community Bank ® Branch of Bendigo Bank, for six years. Sharee is deeply embedded in the local community and brings a wealth of experience to her role.

As we redirect our focus towards becoming an industry leader, Ms. Jobson’s global experience in fostering great cultures and cultivating exceptional leaders will be instrumental in driving ongoing success. Under her leadership, we aim to mitigate the impact of age-related illnesses and create a supportive environment for seniors, promoting physical, mental, and social health.

Tim Robson

Board Chair

“I’m driven by being involved in effecting positive and meaningful change to people’s lives. I strive to make a positive difference in my community, our country and hopefully one day throughout the world by supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged people and communities.”

Tim is passionate about effecting positive change in people’s lives, from the local to the global level. With expertise in corporate governance for non-profits, he advises senior management and boards, while also supporting the growth of commercial enterprises. Tim’s experience spans large-scale project management, small business development, and providing governance advice to various organisations.

As the Managing Director of a Queensland-based consulting firm, he balances his professional responsibilities with community involvement. Tim serves as an Executive Director for Five Bridges Ltd, a not-for-profit Indigenous organisation, and has held leadership roles in professional and community associations. A member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders, Tim holds a Masters in Commercial Law, a Bachelor of Business, and a Diploma of Project Management.
